Escape Gas Tank Size

There is no way our tank on the Titanium is 15.1gallons. We run it to empty and can get only 12 plus gallons in and when filled to the brim have a range of only 250 miles. Is anyone else experiencing this issue. We have to stop at the gas station so frequently. Very disappointing.
