Facebook is notorious for NOT making things easy for it's users, especially seniors.

The first place to start is at this web page: https://www.facebook.com/help/?page=124809627598936

All the logon help is located there. One of the help links should give you assistance. You may need to reset your password again to get it to work.

Unfortunately you cannot directly contact Facebook tech support. They've sequestered themselves and only respond via the online forms at the link above.
