Notify your friends to add you on the account you want to keep then delete the other one

.Go to www.facebook.com

.Enter your Email and Password, and sign into your current account.

.Once you are the main page, look up to the top right of the screen and click "Account", and then in the drop-down menu click "Account Settings".

.On the bottom of the next screen you will find the "Deactivate Account" section. Click "deactivate". (This will not cancel your account yet).

.On the next screen, Facebook.com will ask you "Why are you deactivating" and will give you options to choose from. They will also give you space to explain further. Lastly, you can opt out of receiving emails from your Facebook friends. If you do not opt out, you will still receive emails for event invites, picture tags, and requests to join groups.

.Click the red, "Deactivate My Account" button. Your account will now be cancelled.
