Respected sir, Someone created my fake profile by using my photo, address and name. he also used to chat with my group members and also post to them. this person is also did friendship with many outsiders. he is using the same photograph that i have in my facebook account. and also asking for money to my friends. he wants to defame my prestige and disgrace me. he created my Gujarati Profile.i want to remove him from facebook. THE FAKE AND DUPLICATE PROFILE IS IN REGIONAL (GUJARATI)LANGUAGE NAMED "CHOLU AJIT" . IT IS FAKE ACCOUNT AND I ALREADY GIVEN A COMPLAIN TO INDIAN POLICE. I DO NOT KNOW WHO IS THE PERSON CRETED IT AND TRYING TO HARM MY REPUTATION AND MY VALUE. HE ALSO CHAT WITH MY GROUP MEMBERS AND SEND REQUEST TO THEM BY USING MY NAME AND PHOTO. In order to remedy this situation you MUST go through Facebooks internal procedures. There is a HELP link on the bottom of the main Facebook page. Following it takes you to this page: https://www.facebook.com/help/new/?topic=reportabuse which explains what you must do to report fake or imposter accounts or other policy violations.

You need to follow their procedures. There is a link on each persons profile to allow reporting it as a fake. This is something YOU must initiate. See the link above. It explains the process in more detail.
