I Have Reached The Limit Of Password Reset Attempts.

Trying to reset my password, facebook did not reply with email for code to submit to reset, so I sent the request a few more times.  Finally received code, only to get message that I have reached the limit of password reset attempts.  What do I do now.  None of the help questions are helping me.

Unfortunately you have to wait to reset your password again, and you may have to get another reset code afterwards. I have read that you may wait up to 1 to 3 days to be able to reset your password again. If you are still having trouble receiving a password reset code after a few days, please contact Facebook using the link below that I have provided to let them know that you are having login problems.

Me too! FB is doing this to a lot of people, i've already said this elsewhere but I'll share it with you too in case you don't see it...and it's not my email blocking them because the genric replies that they eventually send don't help and once I did get a code to reset FB blocked me from completing the task. It's been a week for me too. This is my guess at this point based on the number of complaints lately...

It's possible that FB keeps the Help Center vague and unhelpful, with dead end help links, and zero replies to direct email pleas for help (like mine = forgetting my password) - it's so we just give up and create a new account and start over. If we all do that, many people already have, FB continues to seemingly grow in numbers/new users. I bet there are millions of current or new users that have un-assessable accounts just sitting there making FB look bigger than it really is, making it continue to look like it's growing when they've probably got all the users they're gonna have at this point. At first I gave them the benefit of doubt and thought it was security for my own good, that I shouldn't complain because it's free, but flip that and it's true FB is making money off me. And if I make a new account they'll just make money of me x2 - Obtuse and Greedy are the two words that come to mind!
