Why Have My Posts Disappeared From My'home' Page?

Uh, I cannot explain this - it's a question. I have posted comments and they are no longer appearing on the home page. I can only find them in my profile. What happened?

I think that the new FB posts your updates on your profile, but not on your home page, though your updates will be posted on the home pages of your friends.
