No Box On Appears Ofriends Wall For Me To Post Comment. Am I Blocked?

When I try to post comment on "friends" wall, there is no box to allow me to post comments. He says he hasn't blocked me and can't understand why. The box pops up when my daughters go on his wall. Whats up with that I also noticed that my daughter can see recent stuff that does not show up when I look on his wall from my account.
