Lost Password - 24 Hour Lock Out

I have forgotten my password. I tried to re-set it and FB said they'd send an email to me to prove identity and re-set it. It never came. I have tried many times. Nothing in spam folders either. I'm now in a catch-22 situation as I can't log in and have no idea of password. Can anyone help?

"Nothing in spam folders either." Mail may be diverted to places you're not aware of, and many of them don't have "spam" in their names. If you use a host the expected mail may not be accessible at all! I suggest you phone your ISP and, if you use a host, your host.
