Someone Jacked My Facebook Account. I Need Help. They Changed Password

- The faster you take action the better.
- Take a look at the various answers on this linked Facebook Help center page that comes closest to your situation.
- Although it would seem as if they only changed your password, they probably also changed your Facebook emailing address.
- Did you google your name and facebook to check what you can see of your account?
- Did you double check access to the account (check for caps lock left on?)
- The above page and this link to Facebook will refer you to Account Security.
- Click on My account is hacked. Unless you know that one of the other 2 options is more significant
- That will drop down information with the following wording: If your account is sending out spam (ex: advertisements or suspicious links) or was taken over by someone else, "secure it here"
- Click on secure it here.
