Hoax Personal Message.

I have recently received a hoax P.M. telling me my Facebook account would be blocked if I don't click on the link provided. My ??? is this: How do I delete/Block wherever it came from? This fake message gave me a sleepless night, worrying about the possibility of my account being blocked. TY to Odin, for assuring me that my inquiry about that was most likely a hoax!

Unfortunately there's no good way to block spam messages of that type, because the spammers use different IP addresses and use other means to foil blocking. Just be alert for other spoofs. The best way to prevent being fooled is to examine the source code for the true sender address (which may be similar to be different from a genuine address).
