Hacked

I am being hacked by the same person again and again. I have done what you have asked and got my account back several times! This person has now changed my e-mail completely! I want this to stop! What can you do to help?

You cannot address this issue via this forum.

You need to take a close look at your Facebook AND email accounts.

The passwords on these MUST be secure.

My standard "password security" speech...

For secure passwords you should follow these guidelines.
- No less than 8 characters.
- Mix upper and lower case.
- Include numbers and non-alpha characters such as !, [, &, and #.
- Don't make it so complex to be easy to forget.
- Use a phrase, pick first or last letter of each word.
- Swap letters with number, o = 0, s = 5, i or l = 1 or !, q = 9, etc.
- More is better up to a point, 10 to 18 characters is a good size.

If the passwords are not secure you will continue to get hacked.

Tell it to no one. Use a service like http://www.lastpass.com to track it for you. Then you can use random passwords and not have to remember them.

You'll need to do another account recovery and secure it properly. Facebook support will do very little to help short of disabling your account. You need to take the incentive yourself.

Also remember that often when it "appears" that you got hacked you may not actually have been. It's trivial for a savvy user to spoof your email address to make emails look like they came from you. There is nothing you can do to stop that.
