Bous Emails ??

hi i keep geeting a email on facebook saying that inless i click on a link and give my date of birth etc that they will close my account down in 24 hors and although it look right my securaty blocks it and says it bogus it comes from a mark c brown at facebook how can i find if its true it also say ive violated rules which i have not
