I Want To Get Off Of Facebook And Can Not Find Instructions From Help Center

In most cases you'd want to deactivate your account, not delete it. The two actions have the same effect, but after deactivation your account can be restored.

For deactivation, look for that link at the bottom of your account page.

For deletion, press the Submit button on the deletion page.
