log on to your facebook go to account on top right corner and go down to account settings then go deactivate account and go to your email and confirm it

While you are logged into your facebook account, click the "account" tab in the top right corner of the page. Then click "account settings" scroll all the way down to the bottom. You will see "deactivate account" that deletes it.

Just go to account, and then account settings and simply delete it there.
