For deactivation, click "Deactivate your account" at: http://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=security. For deletion, go to: https://www.facebook.com/help/224562897555674?sr=1.... (In most cases you'd want to deactivate your account, not delete it. The two actions have the same effect, but after deactivation your account can be restored.)
