How To We Close Our Dead Sons Account

we do not have a password and we are getting messages from the account he passed in oct of 2011

Unfortunately without usernames and passwords it can be difficult and in some cases impossible to manage or delete your son's account. For you to make it easier, login from your son's computer. He may have save his passwords and usernames on his omputer. Sometimes logging into his accounts from his computers will allow you to easily access the account and modify or delete it. Unfortunately however, if you don't have the username and password for the computer this may not be possible.

If you have access to the deceased persons e-mail account it can be used to gain access to all other accounts.

Use the forgot username or password feature found on the login page to send you the username and password to the e-mail. Or other option is to go to http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=deceased
