Error Codes
Where can I find error codes??? And would you tell me what error code 1 is??

Error E-01 on Epson printers
Error E-01 indicate the cartridges are empty: first, verify this is not the case.
Solution 1:
- Remove the cartridges
- Clean the chips with a soft cloth.
- Disconnect the power.
- Disconnect the USB cable.
- Hold on the "Power" button for 3 minutes then release.
- Connect USB and power cables.
- Power on the printer
- Install the cartridges
Solution 2: If error E-01 appears during the installation of a new cartridge:
- May be a the cartridge is defective. Replace it.

Thanks, LEH -- now you can call Epson and they will walk you through this, but sometimes that isn't effective. I think that the 3 min power off cycle is very important and if that does not solve the problem, you'd better start thinking about a new one.
