Save Bulb Life On Mounted Powerlite 92

We have mounted PowerLite 92's in classrooms and need to make sure we are conserving bulb life.  Turning them off/on takes too long during the day.  What is the best way to conserve bulb life on a mounted projector where you can't just close the lens door?
