Do I Need A Passport To Book Flight Online?

Hi I am waiting for my passport to arrive (I am using the 1 week service) but wish to book flights online now as I want to travel in 3 weeks time. Will I be able to book online without my passport number & enter the details when my passport arrives??

You probably won't need to have your passport until you get to the airport to actually board your flight.
