Scratches On Hardwood Floors

We have had our DC35 for over 5 years and haven't had any issues. Recently it has started to scratch our hardwood floors. It's almost like a small piece of dirt gets stuck in the bottom and rubbed onto the floor. Please suggest how to fix this problem. Thanks. Jenny

If your Dyson has two on/off switches (one for the suction and one for the brush bar) make sure the brush bar switch is off when using it on hardwood floors.
