What Does It Mean When The Dyson Brush Stops Working?

Turn power off and unplug the machine.
- Lay the machine flat on the floor and turn it over so that the base can be viewed.
- Use a coin to remove the three soleplate fasteners as shown.

- Check the brush housing for blockages and ensure the brushbar is rotating freely by hand.
- Carefully use a pair of scissors to cut away any hair and fibres from the brushbar ensuring you do not cut off bristles on the brushbar.

- Make sure the soleplate has been removed.
- Look at the brushbar.
Has the belt which drives the brushbar snapped?
