How To Remove The Cover To Clear Jammed Paper?

- Your Dynex DX-PS05CC 5 sheet cross cut paper shreder has a REVERSE (R) setting.
- Empty the waste basket
- Replace the shredder on the waste basket
- Plug it in
- Set it to R
- If that doesn't clear the jam - you can
- Unplug the shredder and try to manually remove the stuck items - watch out for staples (a no-no) and adhesive labels (also supposed to be removed first)
- If those procedures do not clear the jam, call Dynex at 1-800-305-2204 7:00am-Midnight - Central Time for US and Canada 1-888-882-7626 in Mexico
