Misfiring While In Drive, But Not In Neutral Or Park
i have replaced the crankshaft position sensor & spark plugs, checked fuel flow, spark...there is something that is making the engine light come on after it is started. i have taken it to the local dodge dealer & they say they can not find problem. what else could cause this.. i think it is something to do with transmission....because in park or neutral there is no misfire. 2010 dodge journey, 2.4 lt engine, automatic transmissio

Hi I say the best way to isolate the issue would be to run an OBS-II for computer stored codes. Those will will able to help point the areas behind the misfiring seeming condition. Unfortunately, if it is really misfiring, then it should not be a tranny issue.
