Hi, I am sorry that you are having a problem with your DISH receiver. There is an "Inactivity Standby" feature on our receivers that will place the receiver in a standby mode if the sytem has been changed in some way after a set period of time. You have the ability to change the duration of or to disable the feature all together. With you DISH remote, press Menu, 8,4, and then select the time or disable.
