Tv Displays A Blue Screen After High Def Receiver Installed

Our 48" Mitsubishi tv, model WS-48515, stopped working after we upgraded our Dish receiver to a high def receiver. There is power when turning it on, however, we get a blue screen which displays the word "Dish" in the upper left corner of the screen for a few seconds and then turns itself off. We've tried re-setting the tv with the tiny reset button. Nothing happens. The tv worked perfectly until the new receiver was installed. Please help. Thank you, Martha

Hi martha46698, the blue screen usually indicates that your TV is on the wrong input.
  1. Check that all Components are On. Check that your DISH receiver, your TV, and any component(s) (VCR, DVD Player, etc.) in between are on.
  2. Check for Current TV Channel or Input. Check what channel or input your TV is currently on by powering the TV off then back on and noting the channel or input that appears on screen when the TV is powered on.
  3. With the TV remote cycle though your inputs.
  4. In the link below are additional trouble shooting steps is needed.
