Remote Not Controling The Tv

the remote is not controlling the dish box at all just volume and power the remote has batteries and the receiver is on yet it wont work

Hi, I am sorry that you are having a problem with your remote and I would be happy to assist you. The remote is working the TV functions but not the satellite. When you press the big select button in the middle of the remote, does the SAT button on the top left light up? If not, press and release the SAT button and try again.
