change the button on the front of your box that says "mode". Change it to dual.

Hi there Danxt! My name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Dept with DISH. Normally when both TV's are showing the same picture, and the remotes control both TV's, the receiver is in "single" mode. You can confirm this by seeing what the orange light on the front of the receiver is under. To change it to "dual" mode, you press the mode button on the front of the receiver which should move the orange light and bring the TV2 blue light on as well. If it is in dual mode already and you are still having the same issue, the next step would be to check the 'Modulator Set up to make sure Tv 2 is on the correct channel. To check the Modulator Set up Press Menu 6-1-5 on the remote (remote 1 at tv 1l location where receiver is). In the Modulator Set Up screen where is says 'Tv 2 Out' what channel number do you have? 60 or 73? Depending on the channel please go to Tv 2 and using the original remote that came with your TV enter that channel number.

If the previous step does not resolve the issue the it could be that both of the remotes are working under the same Remote Address. If this is the case we need to readdress Remote #2 to the receiver. First make sure that you are using the correct remote control #2 in case you have more than one dual receiver at home. If you do, check that your UHF remote antenna is securely connected to the "Remote Antenna" port on the back of your receiver and that the antenna is upright. Try addressing the remote again. Please take the remote to the TV1 location (where the receiver is) once you are here, (using remote #1) Press Menu on the remote twice, this should take you to the System Info screen. On the System Info screen towards the bottom you will see listed 'Remote address 1' and 'Remote address 2' put remote #1 down and grab remote #2. On the remote, press and hold the clear SAT button at the top for 5 seconds (once the buttons begin to flash) press the number 8 button on the remote, and then the 'Record button 3 times' After this procedure grab remote #1 again and press 'Select' take remote #2 to Tv. 2 location and try it.
