What Is Wrong?
Sometimes, atlest twice a week, whenever I turn on the TV, it tells me thatit has to download and update the quide. Everytime it has to find the satellite signal again. Why is this?

Are you turning your receiver completely off each night? To prevent Guide issues you always want to ensure the nightly updates on the receiver are successfully being completed and that you have the updates being completed at a time that is most convenient for you. If necessary you can change the update time which is generally set to 3am, by going into your MENU selecting option 8 (Preferences) and then selecting option 4 (Updates) you will then be able to change the time the receiver completes updates if you desire and then please just make sure you are shutting your receiver off nightly to allow the updates to be successfully completed which will keep your guide info up to date & will help to prevent the guide issues your experiencing.
