Remote Will Not Change Channel

The remote will not change the channels on the TV.

Hi, I would be happy to assist you with your remote issue. You need to be sure that the remote has fresh batteries. Then take the remote in front of the receiver and press the System Info button in side the little door on the right front panel of the receiver.

How to address remote to DISH receiver:

Go to System Info screen. (Button on fronmt of receiver)
Hold down the “SAT” button until all mode lights light up.
Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
Press the pound (#) button.
Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record.

Note: If successful, the number selected in step 3 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.
