Received New Receiver Today After Getting It Hooked Up Cannot Get It To Download

Hello, Tommy Faust with DISH Network here. If I could get some more information I would be happy to help with that. What kind of receiver is it, and what does it not download?

Hi, this is Alicia Brink. I'm with DISH Network. You may have received this information from Tommy, and I'm sure by now the issue has been resolved. I would like to provide some information to other customers who may have a similar concern. What you want to do is make sure the new smart card that came with the receiver is inserted properly. Once the receiver is correctly connected, power on the receiver on. It should than go to the point dish screen, select check switch, and than test. Once it completes you want to verify that all your satellites Example, 119,110,129 or 77,72, 61.5 etc. If everything is good you want to exit all the way out of the menu and the receiver will automatically start the download. If this does not answer your concern, or if you are still having an issue please let us know.
