Hi, this was posted awhile ago, but I wanted to respond in case other customers have same questions. To program the remote you want to be in front of TV. Press and hold down the TV button on top left of remote until all the lights light up. Than release button and enter 3 digit TV code and press # button, than hit the record button three times. Once you are done you can press SAT button to get back in right mode try using volume to verify it works.
