Lost Satelite Signal

My satelite signal has been gone since I CAME HOME FROM WORK(2 HOURS) hOW DO i get it working?

Hi this is Phillip Chang with DISH Network customer service department. Sorry to hear about your signal issue, let's get that fixed. First check for anything obstructing the signal to your satellite dish such as tree branches, severe rain, or snow build-up. Unplug the receiver from the wall for 10 seconds then plug it back in, it will turn on by itself within 5 minutes. If you are experiencing the issue on only one receiver, check that the connections between your DISH receiver, the wall, and any devices in between are hand tight.  Access the "Point Dish" screen by pressing the "menu" button then pressing the numbers 6-1-1, then select "Check Switch" on the right of the screen, then "Test". If Error 836 appears, do not save, please select cancel, you will need a service technician to come out. After then test is finished programming should return.
