More Info For Mirroring Tv1 Hd Receiver

I wanted to mirror my TV1 hd receiver to another tv. When I tried to use a signal splitter to connect the TV1 and my new tv together, I kept getting a Video Connection Loss. I know I am doing something wrong, any help? Thank you.

Hi, I am sorry that you are having a problem mirroring your TV1 from your DISH receiver. It sounds like you are trying to split the signal before the receiver and this will not work as the box is needed to de-encrypt the signal. The HD receiver boxes have two HD output for the TV1, an HDMI & a Component. You can mirror the TV by running a cable from TV1 output to the other TV. You can use the other available output or you can use an HDMI splitter and run an HDMI cable to the other TV. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to email me directly. Thank you!
