Dvr Freezes When Changing Timers

I began having problems with the dvr yesterday. If I go into daily schedule and select an event, then tell it to skip that event, the skip button remains lit and the remote stops working. The only way around the problem is to turn off the receiver. THen when I turn the receiver back on, it acts as if it was reset because it goes through finding satellites. The same thing happens when I go into timers and tell it to delete a timer. It asks if I am sure and when I say yes, it freezes and the same remedy is required. Any suggestions?

Hi, I am sorry that you are having a problem with your DVR and it freezing on you. I would like to assist you with resolving this issue. Have you tried to unplug the receiver for 10 seconds and when you connect it back up do you get any error messages?
