How Do Lock A Movie Already Recorded So A Child Can't Watch It?

how can you record a movie to be locked when finised and how do unlock a movie that you don't want locked?

Movies can be locked and unlocked based on the parental locks you can setup on the receiver. For most receivers this will be on Menu > Locks. On the 922 and Hopper it will be on Menu > Settings > Parental Controls.

Once you have configured a password, you can choose various channels and ratings to block. This will lock any recordings that fall under your selected options. To unlock events, simply remove the option that was locked.
