User manuals are here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/SYSTEMS/vos1015/en/index.htm

The audio can only be adjusted by means of the controls in Windows or the volume buttons on the keyboard.   Low output could mean a defective main board.

Make sure that the sliders on the Windows audio controls are all the way up.

Make sure the proper audio drivers are installed.  Get the drivers here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=WW1&catid=-1&dateid=-1&impid=-1&osl=EN&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=VOS_N_1015&hidos=WLH&hidlang=en&TabIndex=

Try reinstalling the audio driver.

Beyond that you may need to have the unit serviced or try an amplified external speaker.
