Blinking Blue Light On Optiplex 390 Pc Unit

I never noticed the blue blinking light on my pc before until today. What is that for?

According to the Dell owners manual:

Power light: Blue light — Solid blue light indicates power-on state; blinking blue light indicates the sleep state of the computer.

A blinking blue light on the front of the pc usually indicates your computer is in 'sleep' mode. This occurs when the computer has been idle for a specific period of time. You can find this information on page 8 of the user manual, which is available for download by following the link below.
