Over Heating

okay so i place my dell m2400 on my lap that way i can watch t.v in my living room and then when i start playing games (i watch t.v whislt doing so) it starts running slowly. i then turn it off and feel the bottom and its real hot. how can i prevent it from over heating without replacing or taking my laptop apart?

You can get soe cooling pads or Cooling bottom fans for your laptop. So whenever you are at you can place your laptop on it and then use it. They are available everywhere on IT store and you can get them cheap too. 

secondly you can do is when you use your laptop on your lap, try to get the fan/exhaust out from the reach of anything, If it is blocked, it can be also a reason of over heating.

Also remove the junk applications from your computer which are unused and if you can install a opertaing system which is more free to run on your laptop, this thing helps too.
