Problem With Recording Sound Using Internal Microphone!

Hello Evryone! I have dell inspiron n5110 i7 laptop. Recently I am having a problem with sound recording. When I press the record button , mic, records sound normally till first 8-9 seconds then after that sound is muted. When I try recording video using webcam, video is okay but audio turns mute after 8-9 seconds of recording. I have checked with driver trouble shooting and it says I have latest driver installed.

Hi,

I work for Dell's Social Media Team. I recommend you refresh your Audio Drivers. Click on start, right click on computer, click on properties, click on device manager, click on the symbol next to Sound, right click on ( Sigmatel, IDT ) and click on uninstall, do not delete the files. Restart your computer, so the drivers will reinstall automatically, and set to default version.

Thank you.
