Keeps Turning Off After About 30 Seconds?

after taking out the cmos battery waiting 10 mins then putting it back in, it boots up fine, I have tested it booting 50 times, all ok. Untill the next day when I turn it on and its back to switching off after about 30 seconds?   Please can you help me, really not sure what it could be appart from the bios chip being corrupted!
