No Sound

I just bought my Inspiron N5050 a couple of weeks ago.  The sound was working when I first started using it.  Now it will not work and I get a message that says "No Audio Output Device is installed."  Would someone please tell me how to get my sound working again?  I tried to download the audio driver from the Dell website to no avail. :(

Hi,

Would recommend updating the Audio drivers by clicking on the link below:

http://dell.to/VVYAUl

Select the Operating System you are using and then download the latest Audio driver.

In case it’s a recently phenomenon that you have experienced on the system, would recommend you to do a system restore and take the system to a prior date when it was working fine.

At times it might also happen due to the updates not being properly installed on the system.

To perform System Restore click on the link below:

You can refer the Dell Article 266590 on www.support.dell.com

Also, run Windows Audio Playback Diagnose and Repair from the below MS FIX-IT

Please reply if you have any further questions.

Thanks & Regards
