My Dell Inspiron N5050 Goes Off While Am Using It.

I am so tired of this problem, my dell laptop is just 5 months and two weeks ago it just started going off like the battery was low. I have tried changing the operating system and also formatting it but no change. Help me please, school work is pilling up!

Hello bjkawimbe,

I am from Dell Social Media and Community.

As per your notes, the issue is more of a hardware problem than the operating system.

Does the system turn off while you are on battery and not plugged in? It could be if the battery has failed and need to be replaced. If the system turns off while on battery and AC adapter, it could be a motherboard failure.

As it is just 5 months old, you may send me a tweet at www.twitter.com/niranjanatdell with the system service tag and you contact number or contact our technical support at the 1-800 for your region.

Let me know if you need any further support. I will be glad to help you.
