The best resolution that you can set for your Dell Inspiron N5050 is 1366x768. You can modify this setting by right clicking your desktop and click Screen Resolution. I recommend that you set the highest resolution that your computer can handle to give you a better quality of display.

The resolution supported by the system is as follows:

Maximum (recommended) - 1366 x 768

Maximum display resolution of Display Port ( HDMI and VGA ) - 2560 x 1600,
