Monitor Blanks After Power On.

For the folks who are having problems with the occasional blank screens on startup, I really would urge you to try buying a new cable. Go to Best Buy or CompUSA and get a Belkin cable. The generic DVI cable that comes with the monitor is just very, very twitchy. It might look like it's connected tightly but oftentimes the tiniest little touch (or just gravity, I suspect) will cause the connection to be lost. This happened to me many times and was very frustrating. Since I bought a Belkin cable (four months ago) I have ZERO problems with the blank screen.
For the poster who is having problems with the monitor not getting out of power save mode, you have a different problem. Do a search. If you have an ATI card, I believe there's just a small checkmark you have to make in your options. If you have an Nvidia card, I believe Dell has a patch file. Again, as I have not had problems with this myself, I don't have the particulars, but if you do a search you should find it readily.
