Greetings - If you have just installed a copy of Windows, then it simula be that you just do not have the drivers installed. In which case you should follow the link below > select your Operating System version and proceed to downloading and installing them.

If, on the other hand, the function just stopped out of the blue - then you can try System Restore. Start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore - and restore your system to a past date whereon the function is remembered to have worked normal.
