I Can Connect To My Wired Desktop But Not Wirelessly To My Laptop. Help?

I have my d-link connected to my original router and to a desktop computer. I had to change to IP address of the d-link router so that it wouldn't interfere with my original one. It took a while but I got it fixed so that I can now log on with my desktop. I am also trying to connect wirelessly with a laptop. My laptop can connect to the wireless network but it pops a window that says wondows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network. Any help would be appreciated. I've called the number on the box before and it took forever to get to talk to someone. I'm hoping this is quicker.
