A Gasket Fell Off And I Don't Know Where It Goes

I was washing the lid, and then my husband found this part, attached. I thought it needed to go on the floater valve, but that didn't work, do you know where it goes? Without it the pressure cooker just shoots steam out. Thanks. It's a cuisinart 6-quart pressure cooker epc-1200pc.
