Transmission Oil Drain.
How do you drain the transmission fluid and what type do you use to replace it?

How do you change the hydrostatic transmission fluid in a Cub Cadet?
Hydrostatic transmissions in newer models of Cub Cadet lawn mowers are sealed during manufacturing and fluid cannot be changed. International Cub Cadets manufactured in the 1970s with a hydrostatic transmission recommend only changing the transmission filter every 100 hours of use.

The transmission is sealed at the factory and is maintenance-free. The fluid level cannot be checked and the fluid cannot be changed.
