Loose Belt

replaced belt, now there is no tension to hold belt tight to run blades

Your belt length maybe to long. If so when the levers are engaged the belt length if longer will spin the pulley. In the same effect if the belt is to small the belt will drive the pulley continuously without engaging the lever.
