Mower Won't Start. New Battery. Won't Make Any Noise When Turning The Key

What would cause my Cub Cadet not to start?

There are many reasons why a Cub Cadet lawn mower won't start including a loose spark plug connection, plugged air filter, bad fuel pump, bad battery, corrosion on the electrical components, dirty carburetor, bad switches or a faulty charging system.

How do I know if my Cub Cadet solenoid is bad?

A riding lawn mower solenoid may be bad when you hear a click or hum when you turn the ignition key and your mower doesn't start. Another indication your solenoid may be bad is when a wire gets hot and begins to smoke or melt.

Where is the fuse on my Cub Cadet mower?

On our current style riding mowers, the fuse will either be: A) Under the hood, behind the steering dash panel. B) Underneath and behind the battery, located beneath the seat. Note: The battery may need to be removed for access to this fuse block.
